Day Wise Itinerary:

Day 01: Colombo to Wilpattu:

Transfer from Colombo to Wilpattu (Transfer time is 4 hours approximately). Visit local pottery workshop and get the experience of local pottery making. Overnight stay in Wilpattu.

Day 02: Wilpattu:

Go for full day safari in Wilpattu National Park. Overnight stay at Wilpattu.

Day 03: Wilpattu-Anuradhapura-Habarana:

Transfer to Anuradhapura (Transfer time is 1 hour approximately). Visit Anuradhapura ancient ruins of Palaces and Temples. Transfer to Habarana (Transfer time is 2 hours approximately). Overnight stay.

Day 04: Habarana-Minneriya-Kaudulla-Habarana:

Go for a village experience in a bullock cart to visit a traditional Sri Lankan village, visit paddy fields, witness village activities and do a traditional catamaran (canoe) ride in a lake (this excursion is about 3 hours).

Visit Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park to witness large herds of Elephants in the afternoon, overnight stay.

Day 05: Habarana-Sigiriya-Nuwara Eliya:

Transfer to Sigiriya. Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Transfer to Nuwara Eliya. Overnight stay.

Day 06: Nuwara Eliya-Horton’s Plains-Nuwara Eliya:

Transfer to Horton Plains National park (Transfer time is 2 hours approximately). Trek in the Horton Plains National Park, visit World’s end point and Baker’s Waterfall. Overnight stay.

Day 07: Nuwara Eliya:

Full day in leisure in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 08: Nuwara Eliya-Kitulgala:

Transfer to Kitulgala (Transfer time is 2 ½ hours approximately). Start a downhill Cycling trail from Hatton to Kitulgala (3 hours of cycling approximately). Stop at White Water Rafting launch point and start 1 ½ hours of White-Water Rafting session. Overnight stay at an Adventure Camp.

Day 09: Kitulgala:

Go for Natural stream slides/ confidence jumps and Waterfall abseiling. Overnight stay at an Adventure Camp.

Day 10: Kitulgala-Awissawella-Sinharaja Rain Forest:

Half day river expedition from Adventure camp to Awissawella in a raft. You will be then picked up by our vehicle then transfer to Sinharaja Rain Forest. Check in to our Rain Forest camp. Relax or swim in the stream by the camp. Overnight stay.

Day 11: Sinharaja Rain Forest:

Early morning Bird watching trail in Sinharaja Rain Forest. Back to the camp. Afternoon nature trail in the Sinharaja Rain Forest. Overnight stay.

Day 12: Sinharaja Rain Forest-Udawalawe National Park:

Early morning Bird watching trail in Sinharaja Rain Forest. Checkout from the campsite and transfer to Udawalawe National park. Afternoon safari. Back to safari camp for overnight stay

Day 13: Udawalawe National Park:

Early morning game drive in a jeep in Udawalawe National Park at 6 am. Back to the safari camp for breakfast by 9.30 am. Relax by the camp in a hammock or have a river bath. Afternoon safari starts at 3 pm. Back to safari camp for overnight stay.

Day 14: Udawalawe National Park-Tangalle:

Early morning game drive at 6 am. Back to safari camp for breakfast. Checkout from the safari camp in Udawalawe at transfer to Tangalle (Transfer time is 3 hours approximately). Overnight stay.

Go to see Turtles coming from the ocean to the shore to lay eggs in the night around 8 pm.

Day 15: Tangalle:

Relax by the hotel or by the beach. In the later afternoon go for a Canoe ride in the Tangalle Lagoon. Overnight stay.

Day 16: Tangalle-Mirissa:

Transfer to Mirissa (Transfer time is 2 hours approximately). Overnight stay at Mirissa.

Day 17: Mirissa:

Go for a Whale watching trip at 6 am and return to the hotel by 12 pm. Overnight stay at Mirissa.

Day 18: Mirissa-Colombo airport:

Transfer to Colombo airport. Journey ends.
