The Ayurveda Paradise Maho is one of the few Ayurveda hotels in Sri Lanka to have the official status of a private hospital. All employees have a long experience with real Ayurveda at a high level. Only about 800 meters away is the former fortress and fourth royal seat of Sri Lanka, an impressive rock with a temple. You have a wonderful panoramic view from about 100 m above the green tropical surroundings.

With its unique location in the interior, Maho is particularly suitable for a successful Ayurveda cure, because the climate is pleasant and dry than near the sea. Mostly a light wind blows and the clean, oxygen-rich air and the seclusion in harmony with nature support the healing process positively. Three specially created lakes provide additional cooling. The spa park has an area of about 13 ha. Ideal for walks – even for wheelchair users.

Rooms

There are,
12 bungalows with double beds and 4 units each with 6 double rooms overlooking the garden and 17 double rooms with lake view in separate outbuildings in the Sri Lanka style (formerly Yapahuwa Paradise Resort) are available.

The outer walls of the bungalows are made of pressed clay. This natural material creates a particularly healthy atmosphere indoors. The comfortably furnished rooms have modern, individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito net, TV, telephone and a bathroom with shower and a private terrace – some with separate beds.

Single rooms are double rooms for single use.

There are 2 wheelchair-accessible rooms accessible from the reception, restaurant and Ayurveda treatment center. Safe, internet PC and Wi-Fi are available at the reception / lobby (no charge).

Especially demanding guests will find the Water Villa with 4 luxurious apartments and optically separated living and sleeping area at the lake near the Ayurveda treatment center.
