Heritance Ayurveda Mahagedara

$

Nestled within acres of lush tropical gardens, Heritance Ayurveda Maha Gedara combines luxurious accommodation and professional Ayurveda treatment facilities for a holiday that will leave you feeling revitalized and ready to face the world again. Previously the Neptune Hotel, a conventional all-inclusive beach resort, Heritance Ayurveda Maha Gedara now specialises in Ayurveda treatments to combat stress, help rejuvenation or promote weight loss. Maha Gedara means “ancestral home” – Heritance Ayurveda Mahagedara chose the new name because the Neptune Hotel was the first hotel built by AitkenSpence. This beach front hotel represents tranquility at its best.

Heritance Ayurveda Maha Gedara was originally designed by local architect Geoffrey Bawa, famous for blending interior and exterior spaces, connecting buildings with the natural environment. Decoration is elegantly minimal – perhaps stylized reliefs  of  palmyrah  and  breadfruit  trees  on  the  walls,  or  local  tree  seedlings  in  coconut  shells  on  the  tables. Hotel provide Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby area and there is a computer with internet connection in our library if you need it. But just because you are here for therapy doesn’t preclude gracious living. Their stylish rooms and delicious but healthy food ensure that you don’t miss out on creature comforts.
