Originally the private residence of Lord Mountbatten, this century-old bungalow has been fully refurbished as a six-bedroom boutique villa that offers a relaxing hill country holiday experience just 15 minutes from Kandy town. The original features including fire places, gabled roofs, and large living spaces with high ceilings have all been retained giving it an old-world feel. Interiors are decorated with antique-style furniture and photos of old Ceylon. The surrounding tea gardens are still maintained and give an interesting insight into Ceylon Tea.
